Brief Back Story
I'm R.A. Graves. I come from a hard to find place called Shunderland. (yes I do.) These days I read and write in Sumner County, TN., just north of Nashville. I got here by chasing a girl!
Well, now she's my wife, and the mother of our three children, but I'm still chasing.

In addition to a full-time family, I am also one of those writers with a full-time job, so I visit Shunderland in the wee-hours of the morning.

This is when I write, before the kids stir. I like how the coffee pot sounds like a dissipating storm. It tells me it's time to do the work of hoisting the sun up over the iconic pines of Shunderland.
There are men there, like stories.
